Position Summary University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment. The Events Coordinator will cultivate and steward donors and prospects through high-level events in collaboration with colleagues across UDAR. Support the engagement strategy and execution of all logistics related to the implementation of high-level development and stewardship events on and off campus in New York City, in the US, and around the world. Facilitate all aspects of event administration including facilities, budgeting, participant communication, and vendor relations and payments. Consult with leadership on management of large-scale events; research vendors, options, pricing structures, and other areas. Project expenses; determine staffing, space, and equipment needs; conduct post-event evaluations for the Director, recommending future improvements. UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications Required Education: Data management skills for reporting/metric purposes Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (research, editing and proofing) Ability to develop and independently manage relationships with internal and external vendors Ability to professionally interact with all levels of students, staff, faculty, high net worth individuals, and senior University administrators Ability to travel nationally and internationally Knowledge of BBCRM is desirable Logistics minded also preferred Knowledge of foreign languages desirable Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
