Position Summary

The Middle Office Service Support Specialist is responsible for completing various middle office operations functions and ensuring that there is a seamless and integrated flow of information between Trust Administration, Trust Operations, Tax, Compliance, and Investments. The Level I position has limited decision-making authority while the Level II position has routine decision-making authority. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete account opening/closing procedures.
  • Assist Wealth Advisory Personnel in the client onboarding process.
  • Ensure client access to online wealth management programs; providing on-going service support to the client.
  • Review and send client documents & notifications on accounts
  • Perform ongoing account maintenance & updates.
  • Assist Compliance department with meeting necessary standards.
  • Review and maintain liability insurance for real estate held in trust accounts.
  • Maintain assets in safekeeping vault & integrity of client vault files.
  • Assist with frontline training for Wealth Advisory associates on processes, procedures, and systems.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The trust operating system
  • Accounting and data processing systems, procedures and controls

Ability to:

  • Multi-task and work with little supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Take more than normal care to prevent loss to the organization
  • Perform duties under frequent time pressures

Education and Training:

  • Associate's degree or High School diploma with 2 or more years related work experience required.
  • Related operations or trust administration experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
