Maxar is seeking multiple Software Engineers of varying experience and seniority. You will work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities.

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or closely related STEM field.

  • Experience developing software using a variety of languages.

  • Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).

  • Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.

  • Familiarity with Test Driven Design (TDD).

  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Developmentpipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).

  • Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

  • Familiarity with GNC principles, including guidance, navigation, and control algorithms

Desired Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with formal software development methodologies (Agile)

  • Experience writing software implementing algorithms

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
