Your Role

The Customer Experience and Digital Transformation team is accountable for Blue Shield of California's digital experience as well as its end-to-end member experience strategy and governance. The Administrative Assistant, Specialist will report to a Director and/or Senior Director in the Customer Experience and Digital Transformation team. In this role you will provide high-level administrative support to the Customer Experience and Digital Transformation Leadership Team, managing calendars, arranging travel, handling communications, prioritizing inquiries, and overseeing various office tasks, essentially acting as a key point of contact and ensuring the smooth operation of the team's day-to-day activities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience in administrative and support role
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires critical thinking skills
  • Requires strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands
