We are looking to hire a talented Receiving Associate based in Denton, Texas. Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Receiving Associate is responsible for maintaining and coordinating product receipt and replenishment activities in the distribution center. Primary Duties
- Load LTL trucks
- Receipt of product
- Put away of product
- Replenishment of product
- Picking FLIPs
- Consolidation of PIDs
- Drop receivables
- Cycle Count
- Identify and address BIN issues
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with P.O.'s
- Unload truck
- Move materials with multiple forklifts (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack, dock stocker)
- Pulling and packing of customer orders
- Utilizing product knowledge to correctly fulfill orders, escalating issues as needed
- Work efficiently to attain goals
- Follow regulatory agency (FDA, UL or ISO) standards or policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (read, speak, write)
- High school degree or equivalent
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Personal computer skills - SAP, Microsoft Office, Ship Exec
- Must be willing to operate forklift equipment, working at heights of 30 feet
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership capability
- Capable of working required overtime
- Excellent work record (i.e.: Attendance, Attitude and Productivity)
- Knowledge and experience with RF guns preferred
- Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred
- Forklift experience strongly preferred (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack, dock stocker)
Working Conditions
- Must always wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' in manufacturing and plant locations for extended periods of time (up to 14 hours)
- The Receiving Associate will be required to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items throughout the shift. Frequent lifting and moving of boxes and products weighing up to 50 lbs may be required. Proper lifting techniques and safety equipment must be always used.
- The Receiving Associate will work closely with other team members, supervisors, and departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming goods. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Pay Range:
$35,980.00-$41,184.00
