In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional secretarial and support services to the administrative offices of MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility. We seek a talented individual with excellent communication skills, a robust work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive both in a collaborative team setting and when working independently. The Office Support Specialist will also be responsible for receiving, screening and routing phone calls and taking messages for MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility. Responding to calls on routine program tasks, public contact, contact with other agencies, and youth contacts. Sorting incoming mail, distribute staff/work unit mail, open youth mail to check for contraband, money, property, and gang writing, and distribute as appropriate. Greet, answer questions, and direct visitors (families, public and vendors) to the facility.
