- You will develop and apply HR best practices in accordance with company principles.
- You will provide leadership on recruitment, hires, orientation, and other personnel changes.
- You will support a streamlined employment process for all employees.
- You will lead a collaborative recruitment process.
- You will ensure timely payroll submissions and adherence to deadlines.
- You will oversee outreach programs for women and diversity.
- You will encourage talent development through Skills/Competency Matrices.
- You will monitor employee engagement and support positive activities.
- You will enhance community relations and promote Atlas Copco as an employer of choice.
- You will act as an employee liaison for issues within the community.
Staff/GM Partnership:
- You will provide coaching and support on HR topics.
- You will oversee the strategic direction of the HR Department.
- You will partner with leadership on HR and talent strategy including workforce planning, employee retention and engagement, management coaching, performance, and change management.
- You will liaise with finance and accounting on HR matters.
- You will provide support on complex, sensitive issues such as investigations and recommendations for corrective actions or terminations.
- You will raise and address personnel, legal, and business risks.
- You will embrace continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and department structure.
- You will contribute to our company direction and strategy.
- You will accept special assignments from the General Manager.
Compliance:
- You will manage the immigration administration process with legal counsel and coordinate efforts with international remuneration and benefits team to ensure proper management of expatriates.
- You will maintain compliance with employment laws, recommend best practices, and continually review policies and practices.
- You will support OFCCP audits and maintain OFCCP database.
- You will ensure integrity, confidentiality, and legal requirements of personnel records.
- You will comply with ISO programs, Code of Conduct, and Atlas Copco's "The Way We Do Things."
- You will report Workers Compensation injuries and ensure HR representation on Atlas Copco's safety committee.
- You will promote a "safety first" culture and comply with safety regulations.
- You will prepare Monthly and Quarterly reports.
Atlas Copco Support:
- You will contribute to the Gas and Process Division HR Council and US HR Network.
- You will manage and administer company benefit programs with Atlas Copco Holding.
- You will provide HR support for additional facilities and remote employees as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 8 years of HR leadership experience.
- High emotional intelligence and trust-building skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and New York State labor laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability, integrity, and professionalism.
- Experience with recruiting, training programs, and blue-collar HR issues.

- The total base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 annually.
