Job Purpose Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles across various departments by conducting process analysis, identifying waste, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement initiatives, gaining hands-on experience with lean tools and methodologies to optimize operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities KPI/ Pareto (identification of bottlenecks) 5s standards - ability to help move a culture on the plant floor Cycle time studies (on bottleneck lines) Kamishibai Boards for Standard Work Create Standard Work Assist the EOS Value Stream (EOS Manager, Value Stream Manager, and Coordinator) on on-going projects and new projects Qualifications Ability to work on the plant floor for up to 8 hours a day Work with multiple personalities Communication is key Computer Skills (Microsoft) Web Platforms (open to learning KPI and Pareto) items Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field.
