Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Looking for a Solutions Architect who will be accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio Engage and interact with business partners Be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, technology managers, etc.) to create solutions which are aligned with architecture principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits) Be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case Provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test, and deploy phases, and reengaged to perform benefits realization Translate complex concepts into multiple architectural "views aimed at varying audiences Interpret business needs and applying innovative technology solutions Governance and oversight process for managing alignment of change to strategic goals Create and maintain architectural documentation for all applications and components with in an application Requirements: 10+ years of experience Agile tools (Jira) Broad based IT knowledge and experience (Hardware, Financial Software, Middleware, Databases) Strong in depth working knowledge of Angular, Vue, JavaScript and web technologies Proficient with Java / WebSphere and .NET / IIS Strong, proactive leadership capabilities Able to stimulate and participate in creative thinking for out-of-the-box solutions Resolving and influencing the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities Able to effectively communicate, interact, and influence Senior Technology, Business & Operational partners Work effectively within a fast-paced, cohesive Architecture team and willing to learn fast and adapt quickly to change Excellent written (technical) and verbal communication Able to conduct development Proof of Concept Able to create standards and guidelines for development teams Drives best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes and tools Motivated self-starter with a high level attention to detail Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment Pay Range: $60.24 - $68.24 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
