Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science or Technology and four (4) years' experience in IT technical service delivery.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills, standard industry business support tools, service management tools, and system monitoring tools
  • Lottery/Gaming experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Management skills to effectively supervise a team of 10-12 employees in a 24x7x365 operating environment as required

  • Ability to interact and conduct business with internal stakeholders, managers, senior staff, vendors, industry auditors, and remote support teams
  • Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the ability to interact in a direct customer setting as required
  • Understanding of small to mid-sized data center operations functions, including processes, policies, and procedures
  • Understanding of computer networks (LAN, WAN, and computer networking)
  • Ability to create, update, and govern standard computer operations documentation
  • Ability to provide critical thinking and lead staff in unexpected high-pressure situations
  • Understanding of contracts and associated service level agreements

Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Deputy General Manager, assist with the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned:

  • Provide day-to-day management and team leadership of staff members in a 7x24x365 operating environment. Including shift scheduling, mentoring, technical guidance, training, promotions, conducting annual performance reviews, managing employee conflict and disciplinary actions
  • Foster and maintain empowered team leadership and managerial conduct with all employees, stakeholders, and direct reports.
  • Interact with General Manager and Lottery Leadership to understand, plan, and deliver day-to-day service expectations in accordance with company and contractual requirements
  • Interact with internal stakeholders, managers, and senior staff, vendors, industry auditors, and remote support teams as required by the business
  • Develop project plans, maintain metrics, and interface with various engineering and operations groups, as well as the Lottery to achieve desired improvement goals
  • Participate in project change control activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interface with Lottery regarding software change requests, service incidents, reports, special requests, and normal business questions and concerns
  • Work with GM to pro-actively seek ways to improve Service Deliver Performance for the Business
  • Plan, create, update, and govern all standard computer operations documentation
  • Produce operations base audit materials as required (SOC/MUSL) and provide direct support during Auditor and Customer on-site visits
  • Train staff members as required
  • Assist with QA and UAT testing activities as required
