The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various Supply Chain projects associate with our core mission. • Assist and provide support to the Business Unit (BU) Supply Chain team and Procurement team
• Comply with all Government, corporate and business unit policies, procedures and regulations
• Follow requisite procedures in completing tasks assigned related to purchasing activities
• Perform data entry/analysis of procurement data into GDOTS procurement database
• Work closely with functional areas to identify and resolve material availability, schedule, supplier and administrative issues
• Perform data analytics to aid in the improvement of processes and/or development of corrective actions
• Research the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other federal government regulations to assist in the purchasing activities
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a 2-4 year accredited college or university or have graduated in the last 6 months
• Completed at a minimum their sophomore year in college majoring in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse employee population are essential
• Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement
• Responds promptly to customer needs
