Reports To President Position Summary The Vice President, Global Accounts leads our global account strategy and elevates our presence within key enterprise markets. Leads Global Accounts team, develops and executes strategic account plans, and serves as a trusted advisor to our most valued clients and internal stakeholders. Instrumental in driving Teknion's International growth and solidifying our position as a leader in innovative workplace solutions. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive global account strategies that align with Teknion's overall business objectives, driving significant revenue growth and market penetration.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Global Accounts team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, and professional development.
- Identify, prioritize, and strategically target high-potential global accounts, developing tailored solutions that address their unique needs and challenges.
- Works collaboratively with Regional Vice Presidents, the international team and other key stakeholders to identify and pursue accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers at strategic global accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Oversee project management teams assigned to global accounts, identifying key project milestones to ensure successful project delivery and exceeding client expectations
- Lead and coordinate the negotiation of complex global account agreements, working closely with legal and financial teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Teknion, providing the appropriate tools for the team to promote our innovative solutions and strengthening our brand reputation within the global marketplace.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance objectives, providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Maintains thorough understanding of current Teknion and competitive product lines and service offerings.
- Work in a manner consistent with the overall goals of the corporation.
- Prompt, reliable and regular attendance.
- As assigned by President of Teknion LLC.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with Teknion personnel and dealers.
Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing large, complex global accounts within the office furniture or related industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams in a global environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives.
- Deep understanding of global market dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel extensively (50%+), both domestically and internationally.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
