Responsibilities
OUTPATIENT RN Per Diem Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility - Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy. For more information, please visit our website: https://beaumontbh.com/ Position Summary The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) works with psychiatric patients who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Outpatient RN assists with the medical needs, physical and mental. The Outpatient RN assists through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. About Universal Health Services Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates or Bachelors in Nursing License: RN in the State of MI Experience: Requires at least 1 to 3 years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
