UPE Process Engineering Co-Op - Fall 2025

The Role:
Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a/an UPE Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line. This co-op will focus more on improving yields, reducing recurring causes of downtime, improving specific membranes, etc. Their improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output.

What You'll Do:
* Develop plan for updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed
* Data mining and analysis in Minitab
* Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis
* Perform yield analysis
* Learn how to participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements
* Perform membrane characterization testing

What We Seek:
* Data-driven and hands-on approach
* Proficient in Excel.
* Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
* Curiosity, asking questions, and providing your input to the team

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or similar
* Graduation of December 2025 or later

Eligibility:
* Must be a currently enrolled student
* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December
* Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
