This is an exciting job opportunity for an Operations Manager - 3D Printing in Littlestown, PA. As a part of the global operations leadership team, you'll be responsible for delivering manufacturing results and steering the technology roadmap in close collaboration with Global Operations, Product Management, R&D, and Project Management.   • Responsible for SQDCT (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Team) metrics for 3D Printing operations in Littlestown. Act as the single point of contact for the global 3D operations team and local site management team.

  • Prepare manufacturing operation and investment plans. Define and implement improvement plans and continuous improvement programs to meet/exceed performance measures.

  • Manage projects, including introduction of new products, capital expenditures, processes and equipment optimization, in alignment with product and technology roadmaps.

  • Manage budget in accordance with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Profit & Lost results for the 3D Printing production unit. Identify, implement, and monitor cost-down opportunities.

  • Supervise, select, develop, coach, and evaluate team to ensure effective and efficient manufacturing.

  • Create and sustain a learning organization and high-performance team.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a production environment (both component fabrication and assembly) and managing teams

  • Ability to operate in a venture/scale-up environment; adaptable with a high sense of urgency and a change agent

  • Track record of successful implementation of lean manufacturing and/or other manufacturing excellence programs

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and negotiation skills

  • Fluent in the application of structured problem-solving frameworks (e.g. Kaizen, A3, 8D, DMAIC) and lean manufacturing tools (e.g. Gemba, visual management, line balancing, kanban, etc.)

Salary:$115,000 - 154,500 based on experience level

Bonus: Target bonus opportunity 15%
