Role Mission: INSIDE SALES & SALES SUPPORT
As an Inside Sales Representative, your main focus will be to help grow new and/or existing sales by assisting our sales team with day-to-day tasks and activities.
You will work closely with Kurz Business Development Representatives, Account Managers, and our customers to assist with quotes, processing orders, growing existing/new business, and administrative tasks via telephone, email, social media, and our CRM/ERP platform.
Onsite and virtual training will be provided to perform these tasks and duties that will earn you uncapped commissions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ability and interest to learn the technical side of our businesses such as Motors, VFD's, Controls, Bearings, Gearboxes and PT Components
- Hands-on training program covering sales skills, product knowledge (both internally and with key manufacturers) and company values.
- Contribute to growing existing business initiatives with internal accounts and acting as their internal advocate.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, performance, or specifications.
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
- Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Help BDR's and Account Managers maintain Open and Expiring Quotes
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and come up with creative solutions.
- Become a technical resource to key prospects and existing accounts to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong supplier/vendor relationships to obtain accurate information regarding availability, shipment, and delivery dates.
- Assist in troubleshooting inventory, shipping issues, and expedite backorders if needed.
- Effectively use our CRM/ERP platform to communicate with our team and customers using tasks, events, and opportunities to further new and/or existing business
Competencies
- Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
- Technology savvy with the ability to learn quickly.
- Previous experience in industrial, electro-mechanical repairs, distribution or manufacturing is a plus.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and remotely under guidelines from management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including client and employee relations.
- Ability to function as an effective team member in a collaborative sales environment.
- Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment - multitasking and prioritizing are important.
