Winchester - Financial Analyst

Title: Financial Analyst
Location: East Alton, IL, with the ability to transition to Clayton, MO around June 2025

Salary: $81,000 - $90,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available up to 2 days remote per week

Financial Analyst Essential Job Functions:

• Provide sales reporting and analysis to management to track operational performance against financial targets and analyze financial impact of key business decisions.
• Provide consolidated sales reporting for Winchester including, but not limited to White Flyer Targets and Lake City Operations.
• Provide sales and profitability reporting by product, customer, and trade channel to track monthly progress.
• Assist sales managers with preparation of monthly sales forecast.
• Provide analysis and reports for annual sales budget and strategic plan.
• Provide daily reporting and analysis on orders received and invoiced sales to finance, customer service, sales, product management and shipping, monitor and analyze performance to sales and margin targets, impact of pricing and trade programs, standard cost changes and mix factors.
• Manage sales accrual set up and maintenance in SAP to ensure sales accruals are adequate and well analyzed to support projected selling expenses and comply with accounting controls.
• Support audits and special projects with data sets and analysis, monthly account reconciliations and Blackline certifications.
• Provide dashboards for business leaders to track, analyze and report performance metrics and manage their operations.
• Prepare accounting journal entries and analysis for accruals, commissions and other selling expenses.

• Bachelor's degree*; Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, or Information Technology preferred.
• Minimum three years of related experience.
• Excel and Power BI experience required; SAP and Business Intelligence reporting or database queries preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage high-volume workload, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.
• Must possess excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written), leadership, organizational, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
