Project Controls Coordinator

STV is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team and support financial operations for major infrastructure and transportation projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of project financials, and is proficient in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint. Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Project Managers to develop expenditure forecasts, including tracking purchase orders, requisitions, and planned work.
  • Facilitate monthly project cost accruals, budget setup, and budget transfers.
  • Lead monthly project controls meetings, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, budget, and risks with project goals.
  • Track and communicate financial updates, collaborating with management and funding departments.
  • Support accounting reclasses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the project financial plan.
  • Reconcile invoices and assist in cost certifications for project and program managers.
  • Prepare invoices and supplementary financial reports for cost-reimbursable projects.
  • Provide financial program support as needed for the assigned portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in project financial and portfolio management, OR
  • High school diploma with 8 years of experience in project financial and portfolio management
  • Proficiency in Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and experience developing reports from financial and project systems
Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and financial tracking
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)

Compensation Range:

$49,243.00 - $65,658.00
