HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm

REPORTS TO: Distribution Center General Manager

PAY: $70,000 + (Depending on experience.)

As the customer mailing fulfillment manager, you'll be providing efficient and effective leadership to the mail crew and ensuring the customer mailings are assembled accurately and sent out in a timely manner.

Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Develop, coach, and counsel team members to meet/exceed production goals and objectives.
  • Take ownership of the team accountable to ensure the department goals are met and customer (internal or external) needs are satisfied in a timely manner.
  • Oversee projects assigned on the team to ensure goals and deadlines are on track and met.
  • Provide ongoing suggestions regarding workflow, productivity and team member engagement.
  • Develop guidelines and processes that measure and assess performance standards for productivity and quality.
  • Direct workflow and priorities for projects on the team providing support and work to implement lean initiatives within the department.
  • Responsible for ensuring team achieves goals while working in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate support and resources (people, equipment, etc.) to support the business needs. This includes hiring team members, temporary team members and recommending equipment purchases.
  • Oversee training of new team members to ensure they are properly prepared for their new role and development of existing team members.
  • Conduct regular one on ones with team members (frequency will depend on the size of the team).
  • Host monthly team meetings to review team goals, company updates, training opportunities and events.
  • Review feedback from individual and team meetings along with new hire, transfer and exit surveys to provide recommendations on actioning areas of strength and where improvements can be made on the team.
  • Review turnover, retention and promotion data for the team comparing to company and external benchmarks.
  • Work with team lead and team members on their professional development goals to provide guidance and share available resources within and outside the company.
  • Address performance and behavioral concerns on the team working with HR where appropriate.
  • Effectively interpret work order and job aids to ensure accurate execution of job responsibilities.
  • Organize and set up all mailings.
  • Perform set up and changeover of conveyor line and related equipment.
  • Coordinate incoming supplies in the staging area for future mailings.
  • Effectively deal with team member interactions, including suggestions and concerns keeping with the 4imprint Compass expectations.
  • Determine staffing levels needed and supervise mailing process to ensure that timelines are met.
  • Assure timely maintenance is performed on various equipment within the department.
  • Coordinate delivery/pickup of all mailings.
  • Make sure proper components are being used for mailings.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.
  • Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times.

  • Someone who enjoys change, testing new projects and measuring and reporting on results of these initiatives.
  • Someone who provides an onboarding experience that allows team members to learn, develop, and acclimate to the 4imprint culture.
  • Someone who tracks and reviews results against goals to identify continuous improvement opportunities and communicate progress towards meeting them.
  • Someone who plans, establishes, and communicates work schedules, assignments, and expectations to team members.
  • Someone who listens and addresses team member concerns to resolve issues and lead a culture of respect, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Someone who is willing to work extended hours as needed.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • Associate degree or above, or equivalent experience.
    • Applicants with equivalent, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a lead or supervisory role in a production environment.
  • Previous management experience or currently in a lead position at 4imprint.
  • Track record of effectively onboarding new team members and continued development of existing team members
  • Proven effective interpersonal skills (team and individual) in written and verbal communications.
  • Critical thinking skills - logical thought process and ability to reason.
  • Proficiency in data entry, MS Word, and Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Previous inventory or shipping experience preferred.
