Who Am I? Michael Hoehl is CISO at Carpenter Technology with over 20 years of experience in Information Security serving Fortune 500, Retail, Health, Financial Services, and Manufacturing Industries. In his current role, Michael leads the Global Cybersecurity Program, including strategy, operations, threat and incident response, vulnerability management, information governance, third-party security risk management, technology compliance, and security architecture. Carpenter Technology is listed by Forbes as one of America's Most Cybersecure Companies and Michael has been recognized among the Top Global CISO's by Cyber Defense Magazine. Michael's credentials include a Master of Science in Information Security Management from SANS Technology Institute and several certifications including Carnegie Mellon University CISO program, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, and PMP. His published papers include: "Framework for building a Comprehensive Enterprise Security Patch Management Program"; "Proposal for standard Cloud Computing Security SLAs - Key Metrics for Safeguarding Confidential Data in the Cloud"; and, "Creating a monthly Information Security Scorecard for CIO and CFO". Pay Range Hourly rates are based on: 1 - Program of study; 2 - Degree type (i.e., Bachelor's); 3 - Progression in degree (i.e., 1st year, 2nd year, etc.). The range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 for undergraduate students and $30.00 - $35.00 for graduate students.
