We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Gardener to join our team. As a Landscape Gardener, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Your expertise in horticulture and garden maintenance will contribute to enhancing the overall aesthetics and functionality of various landscapes.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
  • Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and watering to ensure the health and vitality of plants. Implement pest and disease control strategies as needed.
  • Mow, edge, aerate, and fertilize lawns to maintain their appearance and health. Identify and address lawn-related issues like weeds, bare patches, or soil erosion.
  • Locate, plant and care for trees, shrubs, ground covers, perennials and annuals.
  • Install, adjust, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and efficient water usage for plant health and conservation.
  • Operate a variety of landscaping equipment and tools including mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, tillers, and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct seasonal garden cleanup tasks such as leaf removal, debris clearing, snow removal, and winterizing to prepare landscapes for changing weather conditions.
  • Perform general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and applying plaster.
  • Clean, maintain, and repair landscaping equipment to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.
  • Adhere to industry and company safety standards, policies and procedures, environmental regulations, and local laws while performing landscaping tasks.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of two years landscaping or groundskeeping experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance; working knowledge of horticulture.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-monitor for quality, safe, effective work.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work long hours, sometimes unexpectedly, to complete job assignments.
  • Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The noise level in the work environment moderate.

Required travel up to 20%.
