JOB SUMMARY The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Louisville Water Company's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures that the system functions effectively to support the HR Department's business processes, objectives, organizational changes, and associated projects. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to translate user needs into technical requirements. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance HR operations through effective use of technology. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCITONS Collaborate with HR team to identify business needs/requirements and translate them into system configurations, workflows, and processes within the company's Oracle Cloud HCM. Evaluates system usage and recommends improvements like training, customization, and enhancements to optimize HRIS value and efficiency. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth deployment and functionality of the HR systems. Develop and maintain documentation on system configurations, user manuals, training materials, and process workflows. Proactively supports HR processes, reports, and compliance, including talent management, compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring, and attrition. Collaborates on system maintenance during upgrades and patches. Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to HR and company personnel. Provide ongoing support and training to HR staff and end-users on Oracle Cloud HCM. Monitor system performance and work with IT teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system capabilities. Stay updated on HCM trends, best practices, and new functionalities within Oracle Cloud and other operating systems to provide strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Assist in data analysis and reporting needs by creating and maintaining HR dashboards and reports within Oracle Cloud HCM. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. WORKING CONDITIONS Generally, work a 40-hour work week in an office environment. Requires travel between Louisville Water's facilities for training and job skills enhancement. Provides off-hour support, including weekends and incident response as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; and Five (5) years of experience as an HRIS Analyst, supporting HCM processes and maintenance, including system implementation and configuration; and a valid drivers license.
