Keysight's Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) has an opening for a Lab Stock and Procurement Support Administrator. Responsibilities in the Lab Stock include ordering various stock items, replenishing inventory and ensuring all items are available for our shop and site customers. General procurement support activities will involve generating Purchase Requisitions / Orders in Oracle, working with suppliers to order material, and managing delivery of those items to internal site customers. Other administrative tasks to support the SIS Engineering Services team will also be required. The ideal candidate would have a background in Oracle-based procurement and inventory coordination of a stock room. A high level of administrative and interpersonal skills along with attentiveness to detail are a must for this position.


Responsibilities

  • Create Blanket Purchase Orders in Oracle for machine shop and Lab Stock use. Monitor BPO funds and submit replacement BPOs when funds are low.
  • Purchase Lab Stock supplies and other requested materials using Blanket Purchase Orders (BPO), Oracle iProcurement / non-iProcurement and credit card.
  • Gather required input data from team members and generate Purchase Requisition requests for procurement of NPI project materials. Send POs to vendors and monitor and communicate delivery schedules with project team. Deliver materials upon arrival.
  • Use the internet to locate stock on hand for quick turnaround times. Negotiate with suppliers to get the lowest prices and highest quality parts.
  • Work with suppliers to identify equivalent replacement materials for discontinued items.
  • Receive packages and verify parts with packing slips to original order to ensure the correct items were received. Work with suppliers if incorrect items were delivered.
  • Replenish low / empty bins. Ensure bins are sufficiently labeled with appropriate part identification.
  • Track and record supplier invoices in several internal systems for record-keeping.
  • Submit expense reports in the Concur application for all credit card orders.
  • Drop-off and pick-up model shop materials at external fab/plating shops
  • Support other SIS Engineering Services department activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined, direct experience required (preferably in the technical field) working in the following areas:
    • Stock room / inventory management
    • Procurement administrative support
  • Demonstrated ability to organize information and physical materials with accuracy and high level of detail.
  • Proficiency with use of computers including the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with procurement related transactions within the Oracle ERP system.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills is required as there is frequent cross-functional interaction across various Keysight departments.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with others is essential to being successful in the role.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and complete tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on-time
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to reprioritize activities to support and meet customer needs
  • Demonstrates good judgement and decision-making skills

Pay Range:

USD $62,780.00 - USD $104,630.00 Year

The level of this role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills; most offers will be be between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range listed.

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
