UAS Support Work Internship Summer 2025

Reporting to the National Security Solutions Senior Manager, you will provide lab and field support to the Unmanned Aircraft Systems program.

• Lab work: sensor testing and integration, modification of UAS or support systems to fit current testing parameters, organization of equipment for test events.
• Field work: Travel to desert site to include early mornings or late evenings, field work both in a mobile lab and a UAV hangar to conduct test card generation, validation, and analysis.

This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Research Education Campus facility in Idaho Falls, ID.

  Undergraduate freshman-senior enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field

  This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" or "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
