Education and experience

* B.S. in chemistry, with at least 5 years of direct laboratory experience, or

* M.S. in chemistry or related science with at least 3 year of direct laboratory

experience, or

* Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be

considered with management approval.

Skills and abilities

* Good organizational skills.

* Displays versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of

which may be difficult and/or non-routine.

* Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and

inventory, utilizing the appropriate software.

* An attitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions

and work with a minimum of supervision.

* Understanding of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations with the ability to apply these

practices daily.

* A working knowledge and awareness of general laboratory procedures.

* Ability to use personal computer and various software programs.

* Ability to work independently.

* Good written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
