RN - Gastroenterology clinic - Part Time - AMP La Jolla

This is a Part Time benefitted position working Monday-Friday 8-hr shifts that start between 0700-0830. Training will be Part time hours for two weeks. This position is eligible for New Hire Incentive of $2k.

Join Scripps Health as a RN - in the Gastroenterology department at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. This RN role is a subset of the clinic, and it is a specialized service position that requires direct patient care. This role requires to perform outpatient gastroenterology procedures/tests independently. Currently specializing in three procedures: Esophageal Manometry, Anorectal Manometry, and Breath Test. Also requires, data entry for other motility test and communication with patient via telephone/Epic. You will also work collaboratively with GI Physicians and other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited RN program
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Current CA RN License
• BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of RN experience
• GI experience is strongly preferred
• GI motility nurse
• RN experience in an outpatient setting
• BSN
