Production Maintenance Technician 2 - Assembly
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Typical Base Rate of $30.00/hour - $34.00/hour (DOE)

This is a hands-on role where you'll support Assembly and Product Services. You'll coordinate repairs, analyze equipment data, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and improve production assembly equipment to keep processes in control and reduce equipment downtime. What You'll Be Doing as a Production Maintenance Technician 2 - Assembly:


  • Work cross functionally to schedule repairs and support the continued flow of high-quality product, working with the team to install, qualify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
  • Diagnose, repair, and rebuild a variety of electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices.
  • Assess, define and improve equipment preventative maintenance tasks and spare parts requirements. Work with production teams to train on equipment upkeep processes. Provide input on the purchase of new equipment and define repair / upkeep processes.
  • Assist with development and utilization of key performance indicators related to equipment maintenance.
  • Work with various departments to prioritize and execute improvement efforts and support problem solving.
  • Document information related to work assignment, departmental procedures, and maintenance processes. Use JIRA /Confluence software to create tickets, document job activity & communicate between shifts.
  • Assist with equipment moves and area layout changes; Participate in Lock-Out / Tag-Out programs and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Skills and Experiences You'll Need as a Production Maintenance Technician 2 - Assembly:


  • HS Diploma and ~5 years of job-related experience. Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Degree is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial machines, systems & operations. Demonstrated mechanical ability and knowledge of basic mechanical repair practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and troubleshoot a wide range of electro- mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Forklift and Man-Lift licensed or ability to obtain these licenses preferred.
  • Strong, collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a desire to learn.



Work Environment for a Production Maintenance Technician 2 - Assembly:
Work takes place in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use PPE and stand or sit for long periods; Good visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to climb and work at high elevations. Ability to occasionally work weekends to assist with area moves and repairs (scheduled in advance).
