This is an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Product Manager - Outdoor Lighting, Cooper Lighting Solutions, to join our Outdoor and Sports Lighting Team in Peachtree City, GA. Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

What you'll do

You'll support new product development and commercialization, product life-cycle management, and help the team implement activities in the market to grow revenue, expand margins, and improve the overall financial performance of product lines. Work with lighting and products within the Lumark and Lumark AP brands, including wall packs, flood lights, site and area lighting, and connected lighting solutions tied to Electrical Distribution within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sectors across North America.

  • Collect and evaluate data on competing products, market trends, and "Voice of the Customer" to derive insights for creating successful product roadmaps, identify gaps in competitor value propositions and opportunities to enhance product performance, set pricing strategies, and improve channel management and marketing.

  • Establish annual and monthly product line forecasts and demand plan for units, price and margin, for existing and new products.

  • Manage brand and product line forecasted and actual revenue, price, margin, channel sell-through, agent engagement, inventory, and other indicators of performance and market share.

  • Make recommendations for market price and commission adjustments.

  • Accountable for phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) of product lines as they are introduced to market and delisted at end of life. Manage down excess inventory.

  • Marketing and collateral development, including specification and technical content development. Work with marketing counterparts to plan and execute demand generation campaigns (collateral, promotions, samples, technical and value-based selling and digital communication).

  • Conduct corrective action for quality and delivery escapes, as needed.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years professional work experience related to Product Management/Product Development in the lighting industry or analogous market (technical product lines sold through distribution)

  • Proven history of successfully launching new products through a phase-gate process and exceeding business case projections and other targets tied to product development

  • Prefer experience in interchangeable component products and/or modular architectures, with ideal focus on electrical components and end markets

  • Prefer experience with supplier management, including collaborative technology and product development, price negotiations, and supplier relationship and performance management

  • Can travel up to 40%, as needed

Salary:$124,200 - $180,000

Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 15%
