Project Controls Professional CTI is looking for a Project Controls Professional with planning and scheduling qualification and with experience in managing large design, construction, and turnkey projects in civil, environmental and remediation fields. Over the past 45 years, CTI has delivered over 30,000 projects to more than 1,000 customers within the Industrial/Commercial, Federal, Energy, and State/Local Government market sectors. Our staff presence spreads to 18 states, and we work with multiple large businesses, DOE locations and +23 USACE districts. Key Responsibilities
- Project Setup including the development of a detailed Work Breakdown Structure(WBS), Project Budget and Time Phased Spend Plan.
- Establish controls to identify, monitor, and mitigate risk factors, ensuring adherence to project budgets.
- Closely track and monitor project costs including the Estimate to Complete requiring regular collaboration with project teams.
- Monitor and report on project milestones, timelines, and delays.
- Work with project teams to identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Track and report on project expenses to ensure that costs stay within budget.
- Assist in cost forecasting and variance analysis to identify cost overruns or savings.
- Help prepare cost estimates for new project phases and scope changes.
- Prepare and distribute regular project reports, including progress, schedule, and budget status updates.
- Provide detailed analysis of project performance and highlight any areas of concern.
- Support the preparation of monthly project control reports for management.
- Assist in identifying and assessing project risks, including potential cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Ensure all project-related documentation is organized and up-to-date.
- Assist in coordinating project meetings and ensuring that follow-up actions are tracked and completed.
- Review Project Manager's estimates to help ensure accuracy.
- Utilize historical data to help provide solid forecasts for future work.
- Assist Project Manager's with monthly invoicing.
- Review Procurement related documents for accuracy.

Education, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within a government contracting environment.
- Proven experience in project controls, cost control, estimating, or related field.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools).
- Previous experience working within Costpoint is a plus with the ability to expand capabilities within the software.
- Development of Estimate at Complete estimates.
- Experience pricing projects within a government contracting environment. Experience with government compliance regarding pricing is a plus.
- Knowledge of project control processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills are required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with large-scale projects in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries. (Preferred)
- Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
