Work Shift: Grave Pay Type: Hourly Hourly Rate (if applicable): $26.10 Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): N/A JOB OVERVIEW: Maintains an efficient and hygienic working environment by engaging in general janitorial functions around the facility. Promotes health and safety in the workplace. Displays good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organizational skills. Understands the Standard Operating Procedures and Inspection Regulations. Ensures quality control and efficient workflow. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains warehouses and docks by removing debris & scrubbing floor. Disinfect commonly used items. Works in tandem with operators to clean floors and drains. Conducts work in confined areas (e.g., elevator pits). Washes sanitation forklifts, sweepers, and scrubbers. Mops and wipes all hallways and designated break/locker rooms. Empties and decontaminates trash containers. Washes and dries parts for overhauls, projects, and dept cleanliness. Cleans all ladders, platforms, and stairs. Reports any potholes, cracks, broken windows, or gaps around doors. Sweeps debris and mop/vacuum any standing water. Maintains exterior cleaning of parking lot trash, outside break areas, rooftops, bridges, and exterior areas. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum level of education required High School Diploma or GED Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s) of functional experience Experience engaging in janitorial, manufacturing, or general labor functions. Other required type(s) of functional experience (e.g. Production/Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.) N/A Total minimum number of years of experience required in lieu of degree (if applicable) N/A Other job requirements (e.g. certifications/licenses, CPG experience, work overtime/weekends, etc.) N/A PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.) Experience engaging in janitorial/ sanitation functions in a manufacturing environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Required to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders and cross elevated catwalks. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment is typically Cold, hot, humid, and extremely wet. Required to work in confined areas. Required to work an 8-hour shift and some overtime as needed.
