Genesis10 is currently seeking a Infrastructure Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Use hands-on technical knowledge to engineer, operate, and support Innovation Labs systems and platforms Apply problem-solving skills to break down complex technical challenges and meet organizational needs Ensure continuous uptime, stability, and compliance across all lab systems and environments Develop and implement scripting and infrastructure as code to automate support for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures Design and implement security best practices and zero trust principles across lab systems Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and support of applications Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience supporting hardware, operating systems, and software platforms Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, apply critical thinking, and problem-solve technical challenges Proven experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting: Compute, Storage, Networking, and Virtualization technologies Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9 Active Directory, Group Policy, Desired State Configuration, SCCM, Windows Update Services, DNS VMware vSphere Suite, VMware NSX Experience in automation and infrastructure as code, including: Terraform, PowerShell, BASH Experience administering Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, including: Tenant-level administration Hybrid Connectivity, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace Pay Range: $44-54 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
