PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The purpose for this position is to assist in the daily operational duties at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collects payments on customer sales as directed by supervisor, or Credit Department.

Work diligently to minimize inventory loss.

Communicate information picked up with customers in store to supervisor, local team and Feed Specialist.

Handles complaints by gathering information from an account and then immediately reporting it to the Supervisor or Feed Specialist for direction on how to help resolve the situation.

Ability to operate AgVance and Fiscal in day-to-day operations, and Inventory. Leads charge in organizing transfers in and out, customer orders and load outs and warehouse storage, layout and neatness. Communicates inventory needs and slow movers to Manager.

Reports any equipment or facility issues immediately to the supervisor. If not, report to the Area or Operations Manager.

Keep the Manager informed weekly of things that you see need to be done and determine priority of those. Determine plan with them on how best to accomplish if extra help is needed or a bigger task than one person can accomplish alone.

Along with Support help work to keep store stocked and shelved. Understand what the Manager is marketing and promoting at different times.

Maintain Fuel 24 trash, Windshield Washer, Pump Image, Receipt Printers. This may be assigned to one person to watch and handle daily, but ultimately it is everyone's responsibility to help out and jump in.

Provide excellent customer service.

Help to maintain store image and equipment.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide plant support in whatever manner the Supervisor deems necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned. Fuel 24, Country Depot, Oil Building, Bulk Feed, Facility in General.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and experience in retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principles of inventory management.

Frequently required to lift 50-100lbs.

Frequently required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)

The ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Southern Fs, Inc. policies, procedures, and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Functional Competencies

Understanding of energy products along with supportive sales ability, record keeping, and reporting.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.

The ability to point out planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to supervisor that might help efficiency of this position.

Demonstrated math skills and the ability to calculate gallons, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
