Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Sector Technology Lead to join the team. The ideal candidate will lead capability development, AI-driven solutions, and strategy across a Federal Portfolio.

The Federal Sector Technology Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a technical roadmap in collaboration with the enterprise architect to drive profitable year-over-year growth across the entire portfolio of existing and new businesses. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, including resource management, strong software development capabilities, and industry thought leadership. The individual will represent Capgemini before senior stakeholders, speak at conferences, and provide thought leadership on social media platforms and the Capgemini website.

The Federal Sector Technology Lead's primary responsibilities will be:



  • Manage the Digital Transformation Team comprised of 200+ technical and functional resources
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of digital offerings tailored to the evolving needs of the Federal government
  • Spearhead the adoption of AI/ML-based automation to enhance cybersecurity, predictive analytics, and mission-critical federal applications.
  • Oversee the modernization of legacy systems, transitioning them to containerized microservices architectures using Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
  • Build and strengthen executive client relationships and technology partnerships across the Federal Market
  • Shape, develop, and present Capgemini thought leadership directly with clients and as a speaker at key industry events
  • Develop high-potential employees to build a pipeline of future leaders
  • Cultivate an entrepreneurial culture that supports client outcomes and accounts for growth
  • Drives a OneCapgemini approach to harness relevant Capgemini commercial capabilities that accelerate speed to mission within this Federal sector


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience building large-scale consulting and technology programs within Federal Market
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading high-performing federal delivery teams in a regulated environment.
  • Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in government contracting and technology
  • Strong understanding of the shifting market trends related to technology across the DOD, Intelligence, and Civilian markets.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and federal cloud compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading implementations of DevSecOps pipelines, integrating CI/CD, security automation, and containerized deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering complex technology solutions and services with recent experience in three of the following Capgemini offerings: AI, SaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, DevOps, or Cloud
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Growth mindset and broad corporate experience leading to change
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial work ethic necessary to lead within a rapidly growing business
  • Must be local to the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Area

The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $200K-$225K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
