As a part of the UnitedHealthcare Government Programs Marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to work within a major consumer marketing operation serving America's Medicare and Exchange health plan members. Our team executes on a variety of marketing activities, which will give you exposure and the potential to be involved in the following responsibilities

**This full-time hybrid internship position will be available Summer 2025**

If you are located in Minnetonka, MN, or Indianapolis, IN, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. Remote considered - ET or CT time zones.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Content Support: Help develop marketing, brand campaign and content plans while supporting messaging and project execution related to strategic initiatives
  • Digital: Aid in the execution of email / web marketing communications campaigns
  • Demand Generation: Assist with analyzing marketing campaign performance, marketing collateral development, and campaign execution
  • Customer Segmentation: Work closely with internal teams as well as external vendors on planning and execution of consumer marketing initiatives
  • Market Research and Competitive Intelligence: Research industry and competitive trends and data to inform product and marketing strategies
  • Marketing Operations: Collaborate with Marketing and various partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing campaigns to our consumers

Required Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without any restrictions. Proof will be required
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or another related field
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic environment

The hourly range for this role is $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
