We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical with 10+ years of professional experience to join our growing MEP team in the Austin, TX office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

    Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems.
  • Manage large-scale MEP projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Manage a team of MEP engineers and technicians.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and progress meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare and present project reports.
  • Ensure all project and quality documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and control project costs.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
  • Continuously improve project management practices and processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or other professional license required.
  • Ten or more years of experience in MEP project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Experience in business development and proposal writing.
