Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Support Specialist to join our team in McLean, VA. This outstanding opportunity enables you to work on ambitious IT projects, guiding technical staff and liaising between business and technical collaborators.
Job Responsibilities
As a Project Support Specialist, you will:


  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects.

  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff.

  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.

  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.

  • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.


Required Qualifications:


  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Four years of progressive experience in IT project management.

  • PMI, PMP or equivalent certification, must be obtained within 6 months of hire

  • ITIL 4 certification, must be obtained within 6 months of hire


Desired Qualifications:


  • Strong communication and team-building skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-based environment.

  • Expertise in crafting flawless test plans and strategies.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 65k.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
