We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. Air Liquide Large Industries U.S. LP seeks a Plant Manager to work in Beaumont, TX to complete the job duties below. Must put job code Needed on resume and cover letter.

Coordinate, administer, supervise and analyze overall production operations as well as maintenance activities in compliance with the production requirements, corporate strategies, environmental requirements, budget and operation procedures. Be responsible for ensuring team coaching and development and for promoting AL's safety and quality objectives. Plan daily production activities. Establish a production action plan and make necessary changes in keeping with effective operations, cost factors, deadlines and requirements of pipeline and merchant customers. Establish production and quality control standards or confer with OCC and management personnel to establish them. Determine production priorities while considering operation efficiency and cost factors. Establish and follow up on performance indicators and make sure that productivity goals are met. Maintain operation costs aligned with financial objectives. Approve Work Orders. Analyze production and quality problems. Prepare and/or review production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of non-conformity with product specifications and operating or production problems, and determine actions that are to be taken to improve operations. Make sure that products respect specifications and that necessary quantities are available for customers. Assign and follow up on action items through INTELEX. Conduct RCAs as needed. Ensure safety and environmental compliance. Ensure maintenance of installations and equipment. Ensure that all standard operating procedures and safety and environmental plans are followed and respected. Handle accident investigations and all resulting activities. Regularly evaluate safety and environmental plans and implement necessary changes. Administer and ensure coaching and development of the production team. Ensure adequate staff is available. Ensure the training and coaching of team members in order to meet local and corporate objectives. Establish development programs for team members and support them in their efforts to meet quantity and quality objectives. Assist in the development of their career. Proceed with performance evaluation and provide feedback on results attained. Maintain efficient working relations. Ensure communication between management, employees and their representatives. Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and concerns of team members. Encourage the sharing of experiences and make knowledge and know-how accessible. Be involved in contractual negotiations with unions and/or with employee committees. Suggest means of improving processes and performance indicators. Find means of improving efficiency and reliability. Take part in projects or technical development studies. Recommend quality and safety rules, as well as changes to procedures and local action plans. Manage the budget. Prepare and manage expenses budget (production and maintenance) in accordance with departmental and corporate guidelines. Make proposals to optimize operations. Base choices on operation expenses. Ensure investment profitability. Perform cost analysis and take necessary measurements. Prepare corresponding administrative reports.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7 years applied Plant Management experience in industrial gas or chemical processes.
