Analytic Linguist - Spanish

Culmen International is seeking Analytic Linguist fluent in both Spanish and English for work supporting future contracts across the US for a Department of Justice client.

Linguists must be U.S. citizens and must reside in one of the cities listed below:

• Puerto Rico

• Analyze written and oral communications and translations
• Monitor Spanish language communications and give verbal and typed summaries in English
• Transcribe and/or translate spoken or written communications into written English, maintaining the register, style, and tone of the original source.
• Interpret orally, either consecutively or simultaneously, between Spanish and English
• Review previous translations and transcriptions to validate the accuracy of the final work
• Summarize oral and written communications

• U.S. Citizen
• Fluent in Spanish and English (ILR 3+ or equivalent, must be able to provide proof of fluency)
• Experience supporting law enforcement programs
