JOB OVERVIEW:

The Brand Manager is responsible for supporting strategy development and leads in-market execution and product development for the international Snack Nuts consumer division reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager. The role is responsible for Marketing and communication development, Innovation pipeline elaboration and performance analytics collaborating with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Leads Brand Marketing for the International Snack Nuts business.
  • Brand Strategy Development: supports Senior Manager in the creation and implementation of brand strategies that align with the company's international strategy and goals coordinating cross-functional efforts including insights, finance and R&D.
  • Product Development: Leads snack nuts product development pipeline aligned to the category strategy leveraging on stage gate process for innovation launch.
  • Marketing and Communications: Plan and execute marketing campaigns (including but not limited to media, point of sale, consumer promotions, PR, etc.) aligned to annual plans, including budget management following required internal processes. Provides marketing direction for the Blue Diamond International sales team and licensee/distribution partners as well as lead external agencies.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze market performance metrics, adjusting strategies and plans as needed including recommendations and guidance for the international sales team.
  • Sales support: Supports international sales team requirements and initiatives including customer, partner, distributor presentations and Market /channel launch plans.
  • Supports Grant program administration in coordination with external agencies.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  • 5 years of Brand Management experience for a consumer products organization. Experience in global or international CPG business preferred.
  • Experience managing a global brand in international settings preferred.
  • Significant experience with developing new products from concept to launch.
  • Familiarity with traditional consumer research methodologies including consumer taste tests, focus groups, ethnographies, and equity studies.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications.
  • Must be able to lead cross functional teams but also work collaboratively with multiple internal and external team members.
  • Superior project management skills.
  • Skilled in making public presentations and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Results oriented and able to demonstrate creativity through prior work.
  • Track record of building and managing brands, particularly with respect to new products.
  • Superior knowledge of IRI/SPINS data, ability to analyze and make recommendations based on the data.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Planner, and PowerPoint
  • high analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Would consider hybrid-remote

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Experience working under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with traditional consumer research methodologies including consumer taste tests, focus groups, and equity studies.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external team members.
  • Knowledge of IRI data and the ability to analyze and make recommendations based on the data.
  • Experience working with agencies (advertising, media, packaging, etc.) and driving them to produce outstanding results.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Office demands include extensive use of video conferencing, computer and telephone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Position highly stressful and demanding. Time may be spent working outside of office and non-traditional hours due to international markets.
  • International Travel required, 5-10% of time.
