Assists in managing employees who receive telephone calls from customers or potential customers. Responsible for the daily activity of department policies and procedures. Ensures quotas for service volume and timeliness are met. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.



Your Impact

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include: handle escalated calls ensuring customer satisfaction, department staffing, daily phone coverage for all questions, personnel issues, training programs for new employees and ongoing training for existing employees.

- Manages complex service issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism.

- Interacts with internal/external contacts on behalf of customers to expedite problem resolution.

- Communicates effectively with team members to resolve issues.

- Escalates problems/issues/request in an expedited manner.

- Documents customer interactions, established next steps and follows through to completion.

- Ensures facility compliance with monthly/quarterly reporting.

- Manage special projects as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to become an expert in the rehabilitation reimbursement process and project confidents
  • Ability to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to operate independently in a self-directed manner
  • Ability to develop reimbursement department function and policies
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Requires proficient computer skills. Possess proficient Microsoft Office skills.
