Monday-Friday Day Shift! POSITION SUMMARY: You ensure impeccable operations by adhering to department policies, procedures, and guidelines. Your responsibilities include precise compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals, essential for enrollment and ongoing prescription adherence follow-up. Your diligence in checking each medication before dispensing ensures patient safety and treatment efficacy. Your expertise extends to comprehensive medication reconciliation integrated into electronic medical records during prescription verification. As the direct point of contact for clinical support to specialty clinics, your professionalism and enthusiasm contribute to top-quality patient care. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- You oversee the accurate preparation of medications, ensuring precision and attention to every patient detail for the highest quality prescriptions.
- Your crucial responsibility includes verifying all medications before they leave the pharmacy, maintaining strict quality standards.
- As an expert in compounding prescribed medications, you package and label with precision, ensuring correct and safe delivery to every patient.

- Patient care is at the core of your role, encompassing enrollments, ongoing adherence follow-ups, and ensuring patients receive the right care.

EDUCATION:
- A PharmD or bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- An active and unrestricted WI Pharmacist license (in good standing) is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of related experience is required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- A comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy and an elevated level of proficiency in performing pharmacist's duties and responsibilities.
- A high level of analytical ability, organizational and personal management skill and focus to ensure the concerted approach to operations.
- Practice experience working with as well as revising and/or implementing information systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills.
- Professional in conduct and demeanor.
- Proficient with standard software used in healthcare office settings (i.e. MS Word, Excel, web browser, etc.).
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
- Knowledge and understanding of the federal funded 340B program is highly preferred.
- QS1 and Specialty Pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Depending on site-specific requirements, an active certification in good standing as a Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) from the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) may be required but is preferred. Experience with Specialty medications and immunizations is preferred.
Special Working Conditions (On-call, travel, shift, coverage):
- Clearway Health Specialty Pharmacies, serving patients in hospitals, health systems, and communities, may require employees at client sites to work on company-recognized holidays.
