Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Greenville, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Successful candidate will work with subject matter experts to develop/deliver technical training for airborne and ground-based systems.
  • Partner with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define curriculum/courseware development priorities and coordinate completion with product release dates.
  • Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans based on engineering documentation, field service requirements, and vendor spec sheets.
  • Create course materials that ensure participants understand the systems and the skills needed to operate or maintain them in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Works under general supervision and may be responsible for entire programs.
  • Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines.
  • Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $41 - $75/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp to Direct (8 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 13 years experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Minimum of 13 years experience in Training development and delivery in a technical environment.
  • Minimum of 13 years of experience gathering and utilizing metrics to improve program performance.
  • Minimum of 13 years experience as a Communication Systems Operator on an airborne platform (C-37, C-32, C-40, VC-25 or similar).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
  • This position needs attention to detail and follow-up on all delegated assignments.
  • Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting, trainer/simulator environment, or on aircraft.
  • Adobe Captivate.
  • Formal U.S. military instructional experience (TRADOC, AETC).
  • Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Experience in the development of computer-based training.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
