About the role

We're looking for a highly motivated Analyst who excels in program management, operations, analysis, and communications to join our Strategic Planning team at Okta. In this role, you will support executing the company's multi-year strategic planning process, portfolio oversight, communications, and in-year operational rhythms. You'll work closely with teams like Go-To-Market, Corporate Communications, Finance, Legal, Product, Security, Business Technology, and Operations, helping ensure alignment to drive both near-term and long-term company strategy. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on the company's direction while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Portfolio Management Support: Track statuses and timelines and prepare content for executive meetings, aligning updates and strategic initiatives with company priorities
  • Program Management Support: Prepare meeting materials for key meetings, track action items, and ensure alignment with goals and progress.Proactively manage dependencies, define timelines, ensure cross-functional alignment, and mitigate risks within a project or program.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement process improvements for planning and cross-company operating rhythm.
  • Change Management & Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally to manage communications and coordinate change efforts related to the cross-company operating rhythm and planning.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain playbooks, templates, and other documentation to support company-wide operations. Create impactful reports and presentations to support leadership decision-making.Ad-hoc Projects: Support special projects as needed.



What you'll bring to the role



  • 2+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or strategic planning, ideally from a consulting or industry background
  • Solid project/program management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A self-starter attitude, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated to find solutions to problems
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and passionate about driving cross-functional alignment
  • Proactive learner to quickly ramp up and understand strategic planning priorities, methodologies, stakeholders, and practices

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$99,000 $149,000 USD
