Overview

Rapiscan Systems,Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products range from hand held metal detectors to Real Time Tomography used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.

We are looking for a Sales Operations Admin to join our team. This individual will perform administrative, operational, and sales support tasks. They will also enable the sales team to spend more time selling to drive profitable business growth. You will also be the single point of contact (SPOC) between the sales staff, all internal resources, and partners.


Responsibilities

  • Sales order administration, including order entry, quotes, order status, availability.
  • Reporting including routine and ad hoc.
  • Logistics and operations coordination, including export & radiation safety compliance.
  • Contracts administration; insure timely shipments and installations.
  • Advise the sales team including shipping status, literature requests, and service liaison.
  • Continually improves critical processes to help achieve high performance sales goals.
  • Develops, enhances, and implements efficient processes and procedures.
  • RFP's/Tenders/Proposals support.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field desired. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Administration environment desired.
  • Must have experience with groups such as sales, marketing, technical support, operations, service, MIS, engineering; strong problem solving skills.
  • Must work with a results orientation and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction (customer-centric, delight the customer).
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and follow through skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • High energy, self-motivated, takes initiative, follow through to completion.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with great diplomacy.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish desired.
