Description

The R&D Sr Analyst will be a member of the Cryptologic Carry On Program (CCOP) Research and Development (R&D) team, working primarily with project sponsors and a team of cross-functional professionals to support the planning, development, testing, and evaluation of new technology for CCOP leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong history of SSEE/CCOP experience, prototype and development of new capabilities, and experience operating in a rapidly changing/fast paced environment. Additionally, high-level communication skills, a customer focused mindset, and a team player mentality are required.

PRIMARY DUTIES - RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Conducting research and evaluation of new and emerging technology
  • Coordinating with funding sponsors to discuss requirements and deliverables for R&D projects
  • Coordinating with vendors to gather information required for weekly/monthly reporting
  • Monitoring, communicating and reporting on team performance metrics, risks and issues to stakeholders and leadership
  • Drafting and briefing of comprehensive reports covering stages and status of prototype capabilities
  • Supporting various symposiums and working groups in support of R&D of new capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in the evaluation of new capabilities
  • Background highlighting prior experience managing projects in support of DoD customers (preferably Navy)
  • Excellent organization, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills
  • Posses excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Customer-focused and a self-starter
