Sr Product Manager IT

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Lead with expertise in SAP DataSphere and SAP HANA to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading reporting initiatives, ensuring data integrity, and developing business intelligence solutions to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, reporting tools, and data governance within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise reporting solutions using SAP DataSphere, SAP HANA, and other relevant BI tools.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership and best practices for reporting, analytics, and data governance.
  • Train and mentor team members on reporting best practices and SAP DataSphere functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data reporting and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data reporting, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP DataSphere and SAP HANA and proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading reporting teams or initiatives within an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM data sources.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven analytics and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • IT Product Strategy: Define and communicate a comprehensive IT product strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business strategy. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key initiatives and enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, security, and business units, to ensure successful product development and delivery. Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT product management. Use market insights to inform product decisions and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work with engineering teams to prioritize and execute product enhancements.
  • Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product introductions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent job-related experience. PMI Certification is desired but not required.
Experience Requirements: 8+ years of experience in project management of varied complexities and scope.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
