Role Purpose

Join our Global Product Integration & Connectivity! We're the team as a key player in LSEG product. This role focuses on the end-to-end LSEG products and services test through our global test environments emulating client configurations including various last mile circuit delivery.The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, distribution management, product management, and Client Technical Implementation teams to ensure smooth deployment of new software releases and hardware platforms. This position demands in-depth technical expertise, playing a critical role in pre-sales, first access programs (EAP), beta releases, and readiness for revenue generation (RRG) releases.

Crucial skills & competencies

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, both manual and automated testing.

  • Proficiency with operating systems, including Windows Server, Linux, Red Hat, CentOS, and others.

  • Solid understanding of local area and wide area networking technologies, such as Ethernet, Routers, Bridges, Ethernet Switches, Firewalls, and Routing.

  • Proven understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and multicast.

  • Proficient in shell programming and extensive knowledge of UNIX tools and utilities (e.g., vi, vim, sed, awk, grep, Perl).

  • Experience with unit test tools, user interface test tools, and test management tools such as TestRail.

  • Experience in using (SNOW)Service Now for all test environment requests

  • Experienced in remote access to servers including use of HP ILO and Dell IDRAC

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages (Java, SQL)

Education & certifications

  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (M.Sc. preferred) or a minimum of five years of work experience in an information systems field

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $85,500 - $142,500. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
