Progyny is seeking a Summer Intern to support the Client Onboarding & Solutions team at the beginning of peak implementation season. The intern will contribute to key initiatives that enhance seamless and accurate client onboarding & plan year roll overs, operational excellence, and scalable frameworks. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a key role during the client lifecycle in employee benefits. The intern will present recommendations on process improvements for onboarding new clients and maintenance of in Progyny's multi-product suite, areas of improvement for our benefit setup & maintenance testing processes, and areas of improvement for our client presentation and implementation readiness strategy.

Progyny's internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to gain valuable corporate work experience while contributing to meaningful projects that benefit the company. The internship program runs year-round based on the needs of each department, with a dedicated summer program that begins in June. Summer interns will be required to present to senior leadership on project(s) that they have completed during their time with Progyny.

The internship program will align the intern to a specific business leader to execute on a specific project plan. This is a paid internship with a hybrid schedule, requiring interns to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote positions may also be available.

What you'll do...

  • Learn to balance competing priorities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

  • Analyze data, track project performance, and present insights.

  • Understand the client lifecycle in employee benefits.

  • Work on meaningful, high-impact projects that contribute to Progyny's goals.

  • Develop internal and external client-facing communication skills.

  • Develop project management skills seeing projects through to completion. Manage internal and external projects with clear deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder management.

  • Develop cross-functional collaboration skills by working across teams (e.g., sales, client success, member marketing, and product) to drive strategic initiatives and align on business goals.

About you...

  • Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables.

  • Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver.

  • Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross functional resources and teams.

  • Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, deliverables, and quality expectations.

  • Collaboration effectively across teams and responsiveness.

  • Ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and take ownership.

  • Clarity and effectiveness in written and verbal communication.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $25.00/hour - $50.00/hour.
