Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. First Citizens Bank is hiring a Risk Officer to join our Regulatory Relations team, with a focus on Commercial Credit. This role serves as a key liaison between the Bank's commercial credit functions and the Bank's federal and state regulators. You'll play a central role in helping the Bank prepare for and manage regulatory exams and supervisory interactions, while gaining exposure to senior executives and working across multiple high-profile credit areas. Our commercial credit portfolio is complex, diverse, and among the most interesting in the industry. Responsibilities What You'll Do:

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business judgment, familiarity with banking regulations, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
