Bid Coordinator

The Job Responsibilities

  • Act as single point of contact for sales team to submit qualified tenders with dollar value ranging from $25K to over several $MM.
  • Coordinate all necessary commercial input required to respond to tenders; i.e., legal, controlling, logistics, quality etc. Using established templates, prepare a professional response to the tender.
  • Ensure all specifications and requirements are reviewed and responded to in the required timeframe by the subject matter experts.
  • Completion and submission of tenders to the offering party (customer, distributor, EPC firms, etc).
  • Streamline bid management process by developing and maintaining a central database/repository of commonly needed answers and documentation for quick turnaround on requests.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma required.

Experience:

Three (3) to five (5) years of bid management for Request for Quote, Request for Pricing, RFPs, governmental entity pricing offers. Prior work in a customer service environment or project management.

Skills:



  • Strong attention to detail and organization is a must
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prior experience project managing large RFPs
  • Intermediate (or better) knowledge of database and\or spreadsheet tools (MS Excel)
  • Intermediate SAP knowledge preferred but not required
  • Project management experience a plus
